At a working session with Long Duc Investment Co., Ltd and provincial authorities, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Mr. Ho Van Ha instructed the Department of Construction to promptly inspect and handle the issue of brick kilns encroaching on the traffic safety corridor along Lo Gach – Cau Nuoc Trong road. He also requested repairs to road surfaces, lighting systems, and drainage to ensure safety for this important access road to Long Duc Industrial Park.

According to Long Duc Investment Co., Ltd, the road has been in serious disrepair for years, with encroachments from brick kilns posing significant risks, especially to over 14,000 workers commuting daily. The Department of Construction reported that the 4km-long road has deteriorated severely, with damaged surfaces, missing signage, inadequate lighting, and frequent flooding. Heavy truck traffic, combined with mud from the brick kilns, increases the risk of accidents.

The road’s upgrade project was approved in 2022, but delays in land-use planning adjustments have stalled implementation. The Department has proposed urgent repairs and acceleration of the planned upgrade project.
