On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), Long Duc Industrial Park successfully organized the second “Environment Day” event, in collaboration with more than 30 companies currently operating within the park. Over 200 staff members and workers from both domestic and international enterprises joined hands to collect waste and clean a 1.3km stretch of roadway inside the industrial park. This meaningful action not only contributes to environmental protection but also demonstrates the strong sense of unity and social responsibility shared by businesses in Long Duc.

With the message “Together, LDIP protect the environment,” this year’s program continues to spread the positive spirit established in the inaugural event in 2024. We believe that environmental protection does not depend on the scale of action, but on the awareness and persistence in everyday deeds. That is why the Long Duc Industrial Park Management Board regards this as one of the key annual activities that reflect our commitment to sustainable development, together with our business community.

The theme of World Environment Day 2025 is “Beat Plastic Pollution,” a powerful reminder of the urgent need to change our behavior around plastic consumption and waste management. At Long Duc, this cleanup activity was thoroughly planned with designated collection areas, clear traffic safety measures, and proper sorting and disposal of plastic waste, nylon bags, and other non-biodegradable materials.

We would like to especially recognize the proactive spirit of company representatives who not only helped coordinate their teams but also participated directly in guiding workers to fulfill the goals of the event.

More than just a cleanup campaign, today’s program is a message to all enterprises, workers, and local residents that even the smallest actions, when done collectively and with the right approach, can create meaningful change. From the bags of waste collected, the cleaner roads, to the growing awareness of waste separation at source — all are contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more livable industrial community.
