On August 4, 2025, the Vice Governor of Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, led a delegation on an official visit to Long Duc Industrial Park (Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam).

During the visit, Long Duc Industrial Park presented several key topics, including its initiatives in high-skilled human resource development, prospects for urban cooperation with Hyogo Prefecture, and the upcoming Long Duc 3 development project.

The program also featured participation from tenant companies with headquarters in Hyogo Prefecture. Kobelco Eco-Solutions Vietnam and Settsu Carton Vietnam provided briefings on their business operations and hosted factory tours for the delegation.

The visit took place against the backdrop of Vietnam’s sustained GDP growth and the increasing importance of Long Duc Industrial Park as a destination for Japanese investment. The Vice Governor’s visit is expected to further strengthen the relationship between Hyogo Prefecture and Long Duc.

It is noteworthy that in September 2024, Kobe City (Hyogo Prefecture) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on urban cooperation with Dong Nai Province. This agreement lays the groundwork for future collaboration, particularly in the areas of human resource development and urban exchange.
